2010 Fund-a-Dream

As someone considering making a gift to the Northwest Choirs, you know the vital role our organization plays in the lives of our members and their families.

The Northwest Choirs has experienced phenomenal growth over the past years. Part of what makes the Northwest Choirs so successful is our total commitment to ensuring that every child who meets our entry requirements is ensured a place regardless of financial ability. We do this by constantly growing our Financial Aid Fund. The Fund-a-Dream is your opportunity to help us meet our goal of helping every family in need.

Nearly 30 percent of our families rely on us for financial assistance, representing $65,000 in scholarship annually. As membership grows and our economy weakens, the level of need increases.

As part of this year's Black Tie & Blue Jeans Gala Fundraiser, the goal of the 2010 Fund-a-Dream was to raise funds to ensure the vitality of our Lee Raines Memorial Financial Aid Fund.

2010 Annual Fund

Tuition alone covers only 50 percent of our budget. The remaining 50 percent is made up by gifts from people like you as well as concert revenue, and outside grants. Without the support of our generous donors, we would need to dramatically raise our tuition (severely limiting participation) or cut programs. This simply is not an option for our organization.

Members of the Northwest Choirs are the next generation of musicians and music lovers. Many of our members pursue the arts at the conservatory and university level. Many choose other career paths. But all members graduate from our programs with a passion for music that stays with them for the rest of their life. They also graduate as leaders, ready to give back to their communities.
