We’re thrilled that you’re considering this opportunity for your child! It’s a wonderful first step into a world of music, community, and fun. No prior music experience is needed to audition — just a love of singing and a musical ear. We know choosing a new activity is a big decision, and we’re here to make the process as smooth and supportive as possible.

What to Expect at the Audition

Auditions are short (just 15 minutes) and designed to be a fun, positive experience. Many of our current members say their audition felt more like a music game than a test. During the audition, your child will:

Sing a short
song they enjoy*
Try some
simple rhythm
clapping
Echo back a
few notes on
the piano

*A song could be "Twinkle, Twinkle" or a favorite holiday tune like "Jingle Bells"

Be sure to watch this short Audition Preview Video with your child so you both know what to expect and maybe even get excited! We ask that a parent sit in during the audition.

Auditions are scheduled via Zoom for convenience! If you child is invited to our callback audition, it will take place in-person at our rehearsal facility in Seattle's University District.
